As part of the Army-2021 International Military-Technical Forum (IMTF) in the Trans-Baikal Territory, at the main site of a large-scale event – in the Victory Park of the city of Chita – servicemen of the formation of the command of the combined arms army of the Eastern Military District (VVO) will demonstrate samples of communication equipment. Thus, visitors to the forum will be able to see and familiarize themselves with the technical characteristics of the newest command and staff vehicle (KShM) on the chassis of the Tiger-M armored vehicle as part of a static display.

The newest KShM is designed primarily for work in difficult terrain. Equipped with satellite communications with a high data rate and HF radio stations, it provides reliable communications within a radius of up to 50 kilometers with several hundred subscribers. Communication is maintained in a continuous mode both on the move and in the parking lot. There is no need to deploy special equipment.

Also, the new mobile complex provides for the possibility of remote control from a shelter using a remote automated operator’s workstation via a high-speed channel.

A batch of such vehicles entered service with the command compound last year, while being actively used in communications classes and training, as well as various exercises.

In addition, as part of the demonstration of weapons and military equipment, guests of the large-scale event will be able to visit exhibitions showing historical equipment and small arms, combat equipment and modern observation devices, aircraft and unmanned aerial vehicles, modern models of military equipment and technical means in service with the formations. and military units of the Air Defense Forces.

In total, over 100 samples of weapons will be presented at the thematic sites of the Army-2021 forum in Chita, including aviation equipment and samples recently received by the military units of the Air Defense Forces stationed in the Trans-Baikal Territory.
