In Novosibirsk, servicemen of the combined arms association of the Central Military District (CVO) took part in the solemn laying of wreaths and flowers at the Eternal Flame at the Glory monument to the monument to Siberians who participated in the Great Patriotic War.

The ceremony was also attended by: Deputy Commander of the Combined Arms Formation of the Central Military District (CVO) Colonel Perepelitsa Vladimir Andreevich, personnel of the Novosibirsk garrison, veterans, representatives of power structures, clergy; the leadership of the region and the city. All those present honored the memory of the victims with a minute of silence and laid flowers and wreaths at the Eternal Flame.

A wreath-laying ceremony was held on the Day of Remembrance and Sorrow. On this day, June 22, 1941, the German fascist invaders treacherously attacked the USSR.
