During the entire existence of the special economic zone, its residents have managed to save almost three billion rubles.

Residents of the special economic zone (SEZ) Technopolis Moscow last year saved more than 692 million rubles thanks to benefits. This was announced by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations Vladimir Efimov.

“In 2020, the total amount of tax benefits received by the residents of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ amounted to 692 million rubles, most of which – 623 million rubles – fell on tax benefits to the Moscow budget. In total, since 2006, during the existence of the capital’s SEZ, residents have saved almost three billion rubles on tax payments, ”he said.

According to him, for every ruble of tax benefits provided in the special economic zone of the capital last year, there were 13 rubles of investment. Residents – small and medium-sized businesses – also enjoyed the benefit on insurance premiums, which was introduced due to the coronavirus pandemic.

“In terms of paying insurance premiums, residents have saved more than 33 million rubles. Also, at the peak of the pandemic last year, for 100 companies operating in the SEZ, the rent for April, May and June was halved. For three months, residents received about 19.5 million rubles in the form of benefits. Thus, taking into account all the tools, the companies saved about 745 million rubles last year, ”said the head

Residents of Technopolis “Moscow” can save on taxes on property, land and transport, said SEZ General Director Gennady Degtev. This helps them to implement innovative projects. In addition, such companies have the opportunity to save 17 percent on income tax in its regional part. Deductions on it to the country’s budget are not three, but two percent.

The Technopolis Moscow Special Economic Zone consists of five sites with a total area of ​​223.3 hectares. One of them is located in Pechatniki, the rest are in Zelenograd: Mikron, MIET, Angstrem and Alabushevo. On the last site there will be new technopark an area of ​​about 150 thousand square meters.
