Dmitry Rogozin, General Director of the State Corporation for Space Activities Roskosmos, conducts an excursion around the Vostochny cosmodrome

Of the 30 children who went on the excursion, 12 are residents of Amur. Seven of them are BSPU students who took part in the All-Russian competition “Your move”. Five students from gymnasium №1, lyceum №11, school №2 in Blagoveshchensk. These schoolchildren showed successful results at the end of the first season of the All-Russian competition “Big Change” and were included in the lists of semi-finalists, finalists and winners of the competition.

One of the points of visit was the Vostochny cosmodrome. During the excursion, the participants of the competitions visited the Soyuz launch complex, where preparations are underway for the next rocket launch, as well as the second site under construction for the new Angara heavy rocket. The excursion also took place at the command post of the cosmodrome, from where the space launches are controlled. The next launch of the launch vehicle is scheduled for July 1. The children were shown the technical complex in the assembly and testing room.

“What the guys saw today, not every adult is able to see. They practically went through the entire technological chain. Only there was no launch. But the launch will be later. This is a unique opportunity. I am sure it will be remembered. And what further ideas and guidelines in life they will push – it is only for them to decide, ”- said Yuri Trutnev.

Dmitry Rogozin said that he tried to tell children about the technological details of creating and launching rockets in a language they understand: “My task is simple – to instill in them a desire to return here, but already return as young specialists, to work here. I want Tsiolkovsky to flourish, to become a beautiful, cozy city, to have good salaries, to have a lot of work, to fly, for tourists to come – we are also thinking over the infrastructure for the future for them. “

According to the results of the excursion, Dmitry Rogozin called the most interesting question about the proportions, the ratio of oxidizer and naphthyl when refueling missiles. “The cosmodrome is a magnet for the Far East. But not only for the Far East – for the whole country. The first stage has been built, now the second stage is being built. Then the third stage will go for the returned missiles. The third launch site will also be built here. We see a great future for our astronautics, ”he said.

From the Vostochny cosmodrome, the project participants went by helicopters to the sites of the Amur gas processing plant and the gas chemical complex under construction.

The construction of the Amur GPP is one of Gazprom’s largest projects in the Far East. The plant will process multicomponent natural gas from the Yakutsk and Irkutsk gas production centers supplied through the Power of Siberia gas pipeline. Here valuable components will be released from the feed gas – methane, ethane, propane, butane and helium. In the production of the coldest substance on earth – liquid helium – the plant will become a world leader.

At the beginning of June, President Vladimir Putin launched the first production line at the Amur GPP. According to the head of state, when it reaches full capacity, the plant will become one of the largest enterprises in the world for the processing of natural gas and the largest for the production of helium gas, which is in demand in a number of key high-tech industries.

The Amur GPP is to reach its design capacity in early 2025, it will amount to 42 billion cubic meters. meters of gas per year. Six technological lines with a capacity of 7 billion cubic meters. m of gas per year will be put into operation in stages. The plant will include the world’s largest helium production – up to 60 million cubic meters. m per year. After the Amur GPP reaches full capacity, Gazprom’s refining capacities will increase by 80%.

Yury Lebedev, General Director of the plant, spoke about the products and unique cryogenic technologies that are used at the enterprise. “The automation of our production is growing. We are located in our latest and most modern factory, which is automated with the latest technology. And with each new production, the level will only increase, ”he said.

After a tour of the plant, Yuri Trutnev talked with schoolchildren and students. Speaking about the development of the economy and social sphere, the Deputy Prime Minister recalled that the development of the Far East is carried out on behalf of and with the direct support of Russian President Vladimir Putin. “The development of the Far East is a national priority for the entire XXI century,” said Yuri Trutnev in a conversation with the guys.

The Deputy Prime Minister spoke about the creation of conditions for business development, preferential regimes for the Far East and the Arctic, answered questions about supporting tourism, including the creation of tourist centers in Buryatia and Kamchatka.

A new stimulus for the development of the Far East can be provided by the development of the Northern Sea Route. “You have just been told about the withdrawal of satellites. But a significant number of satellites are needed, among other things, to ensure navigation on the Northern Sea Route. This is necessary in order to know how meteorological conditions develop, the nature of the weather, so that there is communication. A fairly powerful space group will develop there. But the most important thing is that the Northern Sea Route is a new logistics artery that connects Asia and Europe, ”said the Deputy Prime Minister.

Schoolchildren and students were interested in international cooperation, in particular, the intensification of the development of relations with China. The discussion was also about the development of the social sphere. Yuri Trutnev explained how schools, kindergartens, hospitals and clinics, sports facilities and cultural centers are being repaired and built with the help of a single Far East subsidy. Questions related to obtaining a Far Eastern hectare, the Far Eastern Mortgage program and many other aspects.

The Deputy Prime Minister was also asked about career opportunities in the Far East. “We are trying to select the strongest, most courageous and talented to the team that works to develop the Far East. Almost everything that we are doing now in the Far East is being done in Russia for the first time, and some things are being done for the first time in the world. To find your vocation, to achieve the realization of your abilities and talents in the Far East, I am convinced, is much more effective than in any other territory of the Russian Federation, “he stressed.

The Amur Region became the first Far Eastern region to be visited by the participants of the All-Russian contests “Your move” and “Big change”. According to the plans, the guys will get acquainted with the megaprojects that are being implemented on the territory of the Far Eastern Federal District. The next point of excursions in the Far Eastern Federal District will be the Valley of Geysers in Kamchatka. The trips are organized by the Knowledge Society.
