Near Tyumen, at the Andreevsky range of the Higher Military Engineering Command School named after Marshal of Engineering Troops A.I. Proshlyakov, within the framework of the Army-2021 All-Army Games, the Engineering Formula competition was launched.

The competition began with the semi-final races of heavy tracked vehicles: MDK (excavation excavation vehicle), IMR (clearing engineering vehicle), PTS (floating conveyor), UR-77 (demining unit), GMZ-3 (tracked mine layer).

Each machine performs its task as intended. In addition, vehicle crews must overcome 26 obstacles at the fastest possible speed, the most difficult of which are “ditch”, “track bridge”, “escarp”, “ford”, “passage in a minefield”. The length of the track is 2200 meters.

Six teams from four military districts, the Northern Fleet, and engineering formations of central subordination take part in the Engineering Formula competition. The final of the competition will take place on June 26, the team that won the first place will represent Russia at the international competition, which will also be held in Tyumen.
