At the Alabino and Golovenki training grounds of the Western Military District (ZVO) in the Moscow Region, during field exercises, additional measures are taken to prevent overheating of servicemen in abnormal heat conditions.

At present, the air temperature in the region reaches (plus 34-37) degrees during the day, in connection with which special sheds and shelters are equipped in the training areas for military personnel to protect personnel from direct sunlight, as well as the supply of cold drinking water from calculation of at least four liters for each soldier.

Additional field showers have been deployed in the tent camps by logistics units.

At each lesson in the field, there is a medical officer who examines the personnel to identify signs of heatstroke in servicemen. In addition, military personnel are trained to identify symptoms and provide first aid for sunstroke and general overheating of the body.
