“Moscow is one of the most technologically advanced cities in the world. Like many of our colleagues in different countries – in the public and private sector, we are on the path of progressive digitalization. This is a time requirement and a priority in the work of the Moscow Government team. Artificial intelligence technologies are already used in every sixth city project; Muscovites can get more than 380 services online. In the near future, the maximum number of socially significant public services will be converted into electronic form and the development of super services that unite all the city’s capabilities for different groups of requests from residents, ”said Natalya Sergunina.
According to her, the high level of the digital ecosystem of the capital is noted by both Russian and international experts, and Moscow is ready to share its best practices, exchange experience with colleagues from other cities.
Thus, several large projects in Moscow, the implementation of which is supervised by Natalya Sergunina, were presented in the Digital Transformers nomination. These include the development of the digital ecosystem and the Moscow Innovation Cluster (MIC), the digitalization of the capital’s libraries, the creation of a city charity service and the Russpass tourist service.
A key link in Moscow’s digital ecosystem – mos.ru portal. All major city services and services are presented on it in electronic form. On average, the portal is visited by more than 20 million users monthly, and almost 14 million people have registered their personal account on it. Here Muscovites can pay for housing and communal services, draw up documents, enroll in circles and sections, apply for services for business, and much more. In 2020 alone, the portal’s services were used over 340 million times, and in total since the launch of electronic services in the capital – more than two billion times.
Moscow innovation cluster and its digital platformare designed for innovation and interaction between large companies, start-ups, industry, research and educational institutions and the city. The cluster has already joined 22 thousand organizations from dozens of Russian regions. Most of them are related to small and medium-sized businesses. A wide range of state support measures and tools for the development of their projects are provided for MIC participants.
Recently in Moscow, the connection of city libraries to the general information system was completed. Now residents can borrow books from any of them with a single library card. You no longer need to register in each for this. The next stage was the appearance on mos.ru of a service for searching and booking books. “Libraries of Moscow”… It allows you to find out which of the capital’s libraries has the desired book or periodical, and book them online.
On the initiative of charitable foundations in the capital, citywide charity service… Its partners are already more than 40 organizations that support seriously ill children and adults, people with disabilities, the poor and in difficult life situations, as well as homeless animals. The number of partner funds is constantly growing. You can make a targeted donation to socially oriented programs on the portal mos.ru or in the mobile application “My Moscow”…
The Moscow Charity Service is one of the first projects of this kind implemented by government agencies. In January 2021, he won the prestigious BIG Innovation Awards, and in May he received the international German Innovation Award. At the conference “Digital Industry of Industrial Russia” it was noted as the best digital service.
Digital travel service Russpass Moscow is developing together with other regions of the country – an agreement on cooperation in this area has been signed with each of them. The service helps you plan your trip around Russia. Here you can buy tickets for plane, train, bus, excursions, museums and theaters, as well as learn about interesting places and useful services. Russpass has ready-made tours and itineraries for independent travel – more than two thousand offers in total.
The advantage of the service is an impressive number of options for recreation and additional options that eliminate the need to waste time searching for information on several sites at once. Such tools are becoming more and more popular. According to experts, they will help the industry recover after the pandemic and will determine its further development.
Portal ICT Moscow, which received the CIPR Digital Award in the Digital Media nomination, was created with the support of the Moscow Department of Information Technology… The site publishes news, analytics and reviews. There is also a publicly available catalog of advanced Moscow, Russian and world solutions in the field of information technology. The selection of IT best practices is constantly growing. The portal works in Russian and English.
The conference “Digital Industry of Industrial Russia” will last until June 25. This is one of the largest national events dedicated to the digital economy, industrial transformation and the implementation of the Digital Economy national project.
