Dmitry Chernyshenko at the All-Russian Conference “CIPR” in Nizhny Novgorod

Nizhny Novgorod developers, with the support of the government of the Nizhny Novgorod region, presented the region’s advanced digital solutions at the All-Russian conference “Digital Industry of Industrial Russia” (CIPR). Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko, Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Gleb Nikitin, General Director of Rosatom State Corporation Alexei Likhachev, as well as other guests and participants of the conference took part in bypassing the exposition.

“The level of the conference is growing from year to year. This is truly becoming the main digital event in our country. We see that the city and the region are actively developing in terms of digital transformation. Great attention is paid to creating conditions for business. The number of startups alone – and there have been more than a thousand of them in the region lately – suggests that the environment is right here. And the number of IT specialists in relation to the total population is one of the highest. Nizhny Novgorod is drawing more and more resources from all over the country and the world for interesting projects and tasks, ”noted Dmitry Chernyshenko.

According to the Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, the CIPR site is constantly developing.

“This year, over 450 speakers, more than 4 thousand participants have gathered in Nizhny Novgorod, and 70 events are being held. Information technology and digitalization are priority areas, and the presence of such a forum is in great demand. An interesting format has been chosen – summing up the results of the five-year plan and discussing what we are planning for the near future. There may be many points of view, but one cannot be argued for sure: the IT industry showed good growth during the pandemic. Of course, there are barriers and challenges that we must respond to. In particular, the industry would develop even faster if it was provided with personnel. Now our main task is to expand programs for training specialists in the field of information technology, primarily in the field of artificial intelligence. Our region is ready for digital transformation, and we will use this chance, ”said Gleb Nikitin.

The CIPR exposition includes the stands of the Rostec and Rosatom state corporations, the Ruselectronics holding, the Moscow City Information Technology Department, as well as the REC of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, the Nizhegorodsky CSM, Rostelecom, Sitronics Group, Megafon , Sberbank and My Office platform.

Projects from the Nizhny Novgorod region were presented by ANO “Nizhegorodskiy REC”, ANO “Center 800” and FBU “Nizhegorodskiy CSM”. At the stand of the Nizhny Novgorod REC, the guests were presented with the IT distribution campus, the high-tech quarter 1221, the innovative scientific and technological center “Quantum Valley”. They also demonstrated the developments of Nizhny Novgorod scientists. These are six world-class projects: biocompatible and biodegradable polymers, an automated diagnostic complex for non-destructive monitoring of the stress state of rail strings, a complex for photo and video recording of traffic violations of the 3rd generation, a hardware and software complex “Screen-Vario” for screening assessment of the functional states of the heart and regulatory systems of the body, digital control and protection devices for smart grids, a new telecardiomonitoring tool.

The sixth CIPR conference takes place on June 23-25 in Nizhny Novgorod, at the Nizhny Novgorod fair. CIPR is one of the largest conferences in Russia for dialogue between the state and business on the development of digital transformation of industry and the implementation of the Digital Economy national project, implemented in the country by decree of President Vladimir Putin.
