More than 50 servicemen of the Novorossiysk Guards Airborne Assault Mountain Formation, called up for military service in the spring of this year and having undergone preliminary training, made their first training parachute jump from a transport-combat helicopter Mi-8AMTSH “Terminator”.

Also among the servicemen who made their first parachute jump were contract servicemen who arrived from the reserve.

The landing was carried out on D-10 parachute systems from an aircraft exit altitude of 800 meters and at a speed of more than 160 km / h.

After landing, the deputy commander of the airborne assault battalion of the guard, Lieutenant Colonel Dmitry Abdrakhimov, congratulated the personnel on the first jump.

Each serviceman who made his first jump, in a solemn atmosphere, to the sounds of the military band of the Kuban Cossack Airborne Guards Regiment was awarded a paratrooper badge.

In total, on this day, the paratroopers of the compound performed over 400 parachute jumps, more than 50 of which were performed by the personnel for the first time. The paratroopers showed bold and confident actions both in the air and upon landing, the materiel worked normally.
