The crew of the large anti-submarine ship (BOD) “Vice-Admiral Kulakov” worked out the defeat of a mock enemy surface ship with the help of artillery and anti-aircraft missile weapons.

Firing at sea targets in the Northern Fleet’s training grounds in the Barents Sea was carried out by combat calculations of 100-mm artillery mounts and the Dagger anti-aircraft missile system.

The exercise took place as planned as part of the combat training course for the surface ship. The crew of the VPK “Vice-Admiral Kulakov” successfully coped with training and combat missions, hitting a sea target with an anti-aircraft missile and artillery.

The shooting area in the Barents Sea was previously closed to shipping and aviation.

After practicing combat exercises, the VPK “Vice-Admiral Kulakov” arrived at the main base of the Northern Fleet – Severomorsk.
