From June 7 to June 10, 2021, the Oryol Regional Export Support Center held an international business mission of regional enterprises from among representatives of small and medium-sized businesses to the Republic of Belarus.
The event was held within the framework of the implementation of the National Project “International Cooperation and Export”, with the aim of establishing direct mutually beneficial ties, with the direct support of the Trade Mission of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Belarus.
For the Oryol Regional Export Support Center, the organization of such meetings has become a good tradition. Every year, regional enterprises have a wonderful opportunity to communicate directly with potential customers of their products, acquire the skills of negotiating with foreign customers, strengthen business contacts and exchange experience.
The delegation included representatives of Savoov Foods LLC (production of semi-finished and finished oatmeal products (cereals, cocktails), Khimprodukt LLC (textile production), Softex LLC (production of paper products for household and sanitary purposes) ), LLC “Samson” (universal and specialized load-handling devices), CJSC “Proton-Impulse” (electronic components and devices), LLC “ENTE” (cable and wire products for fire and security alarm systems) and IE Baranov N.V. (high quality LED lights).
The Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Belarus provided invaluable assistance in the implementation of the assigned tasks, the organization of targeted meetings, and the negotiation process. Employees of the Trade Representation participated in organizing the negotiation process and accompanied the participants of the Oryol region to B2B negotiations, gave valuable recommendations on participation in the negotiation process.
During the three days of the working visit of the Oryol delegation, negotiations were held between representatives of the business community of the Oryol region with the management and specialists of the Belarusian Railways GO, TsUM Minsk OJSC, Chisty Bereg LLC Belit Plant UE, Format Logistic LLC, LLC “Trading house” AVANT-TECHNO “, LLC” OMA “, LLC” YURMA-TRADING “, PE” Sidlight “, LLC” Balkan Bay “, LLC” DPM “(TS” Buslik “), LLC” ImEx Trade “, LLC IUP BelVillesden (Trading network GIPPO), LLC Eurotorg (trading network Euroopt), LLC LenProduktServis (Trading network Svetofor), LLC IntAG, LLC Prizm Group, LLC Vector Technologies “, JSC” DORORS “, LLC” Profit Partner “, LLC” Ritrovo “, LLC” GRINroznitsa “(TS” GREEN “), LLC” Dobrada “(distributor), LLC” LibretikGroup “(trading network” SOSEDI “), LLC “Unifud” (TS “ALMI”), LLC “Interlamp”, TCUP “Department Store Belarus”.
In addition, members of the delegation of the Oryol region visited and got acquainted with the work of a number of enterprises of the Republic of Belarus, including: OJSC MTZ, OJSC MAZ, RPTUP Managing company of the holding Belarusian Cement Company, OJSC 558 Aviation Repair Plant, JSC BATE is the management company of the Autocomponents holding. Promising areas of cooperation between the Oryol companies and Belarusian potential partners were discussed, the needs for Russian-made products were clarified, agreements were reached to continue bilateral consultations with the aim of reaching the conclusion of mutually beneficial contracts. The issues of promoting Russian products to Belarusian enterprises using the support tools of the Trade Representation, the products of JSC “REC” for insurance and financing transactions were considered in detail.
On June 8, 2021, representatives of the business community of the Oryol Region visited and got acquainted with the work of OJSC Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange, where Russian companies were offered a set of tools and services in order to organize the supply of domestic products not only to Belarusian, but also to other foreign markets. The Belarusian side highly appreciated the quality of the products manufactured by the enterprises of the Oryol region and expressed interest in further cooperation. According to the head of the business delegation – the head of the Oryol Regional Export Support Center Inessa Volkova: “Belarus is one of the three main trade and economic partners of the region, and strengthening cooperation with Belarusian enterprises is a priority. The Oryol Region is traditionally the leader in terms of non-resource exports among other subjects of the Central Federal District, and the Republic of Belarus is one of the key sales markets along with Latvia and Kazakhstan. In 2020, the enterprises of the region delivered products to Belarus for almost 41 million USD. We hope that thanks to the exchange platform, our companies will have an additional sales channel and the opportunity to get direct access to the largest Belarusian consumers “
The business mission to the Republic of Belarus resulted in visits to more than 60 Belarusian enterprises. The business delegation of the Oryol region gained experience in establishing trade and economic ties with potential Belarusian partners, studied possible sales markets for their products in the market of the Republic of Belarus and identified their requirements for product quality. As a result of the business visit, it is expected that agreements (contracts) will be signed with Belarusian companies and organizations.
The Oryol Regional Export Support Center believes that events like this contribute to the intensification of export activities in the region, the successful implementation of such events can increase the number of exporters from among small and medium-sized businesses, and also guarantees the involvement of representatives of the business community in the process of implementing regional policy in the field support and development of export activities, implementation of the tasks of the national project “International cooperation and export”
