The destroyer of the Northern Fleet “Admiral Ushakov” completed a cycle of basic training and left the main base – Severomorsk – in the Barents Sea to perform tasks in accordance with the combat training plan.

In the Kola Bay, the ship made a passage through a conventionally mined water area in support of the base minesweepers of the formation of the protection of the water area of ​​the Kola Flotilla of diverse forces.

In the combat training grounds of the Northern Fleet in the Barents Sea, the destroyer worked out maneuvering and checking technical means of communication, navigation and radar weapons.

During anchorage, the crew worked out practical grenade throwing as part of an exercise on anti-submarine sabotage defense of the ship while parked in an unprotected roadstead.

The destroyer’s sailing out to sea will last for several days. During this time, the crew will conduct a number of private exercises on radiation, chemical and biological protection, camouflage, electronic warfare, and will also perform artillery fire at sea and coastal targets.
