A unified procedure for interdepartmental interaction in the provision of public services will begin to operate in Russia. The resolution on this was approved by the Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

The document applies to federal, regional and local authorities, off-budget funds and multifunctional centers.

According to the rules, the processing of a request that one agency sends to another should not exceed 48 hours. At the same time, in cases where electronic interaction of government agencies is impossible, the exchange of documents on paper is allowed.

Also, certain aspects of interagency interaction in real time are regulated. Speech, for example, about automatic retrieval of information from databases. It is recorded that in such situations, a response to a request from a government agency must be received within two seconds.

The document comes into force on January 1, 2022. The Ministry of Digital Industry – the operator of a unified system of interdepartmental interaction – will monitor the quality of services.

Compliance with the provisions of the regulation will allow more efficient provision of public services to citizens and businesses.
