For the first half of 2021, the specialists of the capital Department of Urban Development Policy held six online receptions of citizens on the implementation of the renovation program. The meetings were held at the public headquarters.
“For six months of this year, our specialists met with residents six times at the site of the public headquarters for monitoring the implementation of the renovation program. At receptions, they explain topical issues of the implementation of the renovation program, talk about the stages and terms of resettlement, clarify the features of the legislation on urban planning. During this time, representatives of the department, together with specialists Moskomarchitecture, metropolitan departments construction and city property, Renovation Fund, prefectures and district governments took part in six thematic round tables in an online format. At the meetings, the most pressing issues related to the renovation program were discussed.
The Public Headquarters is an open area where Muscovites can apply for advice on all issues related to the renovation program. It was created in 2017 to protect the rights and interests of citizens and provide legal assistance.
“Over the six months of this year, 600 people came to receptions at the public headquarters, of which 153 people attended receptions of representatives of the relevant departments responsible for the implementation of the renovation program in Moscow,” said the chairman of the public headquarters for monitoring the implementation of the renovation program, a member of the Public Chambers of the city of Moscow Valery Telichenko.

The renovation program was approved in 2017, about a million Muscovites became its participants – they are residents of 5175 houses. All of them will be able to move to modern comfortable apartments. It is planned to build in 2021 about 1.5 million square meters of housing.
