Today in Kazan more than 18 thousand people visited the train with the thematic action of the Ministry of Defense of Russia “We are the army of the country! We are the army of the people! ” The train stopped at the railway station of the capital of Tatarstan for four hours.
Among the visitors of the action were the military commissar of the region, Major General Sergei Pogodin, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic Leila Fazleeva, head of the regional branch of the All-Russian military-patriotic public movement “Yunarmiya” Major General Alexander Borodin, representatives of the city administration, servicemen of the Kazan garrison, veterans and youth soldiers …
Participants of the action and residents of Kazan examined the train expositions dedicated to the development of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, the history of the Great Patriotic War, the youth army movement and the work of military doctors during the coronavirus pandemic. Visitors got acquainted with samples of the latest technology of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and trophies from the Syrian Arab Republic.
A festive concert was held for the participants of the action. Everyone was fed with soldier’s porridge from the field kitchens and given hot tea.
At the station square, a point for selecting citizens for military service under a contract was deployed, where everyone could learn about social benefits, money and clothing for military personnel and conclude a contract. The point was visited by over 500 people.
The propaganda campaign using the propaganda train is aimed at uniting society through history and modernity, the successes and achievements of our country and the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
The train travels across the country with stops in 51 cities. The action will end on June 27 with festive events in the Patriot park near Moscow. The military echelon consists of 17 cars, of which a number of cars are reserved for thematic expositions.
