The keys to new apartments have already been received by 32 thousand Muscovites.

Under the renovation program, 5.1 million square meters of housing is being built and designed, said the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Development Policy and Construction Andrey Bochkarev.

“Now we have built 117 houses under the renovation program with a capacity of 1.4 million square meters, of which 98 have already been transferred for settlement. Another 175 houses with a capacity of 2.8 million square meters are being built, and 117 houses of 2.3 million square meters are being designed, “said Andrei Bochkarev.

According to the deputy mayor, the resettlement of 40.4 thousand residents from 274 houses has begun, of which more than 32 thousand have already received the keys to new apartments. In addition, 54 old houses were dismantled as part of the program.

The renovation program was approved in 2017, it provides for the resettlement of 5175 houses and concerns about one million Muscovites. Participants are provided with support at all stages – from paperwork to the assistance of loaders when moving.
