Servicemen of engineering units of the Central Military District (CVD) will build bridges to ensure transport accessibility to social facilities for residents of two districts of the Republic of Tyva. The corresponding decision was made by the commander of the Central Military District, Colonel-General Alexander Lapin at the request of the government of the Republic of Tyva.

Currently, military engineers are completing a march from Abakan to the work areas. At the preparatory stage, the servicemen will conduct a reconnaissance of the areas, clear the coastal zone, prepare the embankment and equip the access roads.

Military specialists will install three bridges about 80 meters long across the Mogen-Buren River, and two bridges up to 20 meters across the Chyrgaki River. The structures will provide road links on regional and local roads.

About 100 military personnel were involved in the event, more than 20 units of engineering equipment were involved, including bulldozers, excavators and truck cranes.
