The panel of judges summed up the results of the second exercise of the All-Army stage of the International Cynological Competition “Faithful Friend-2021”, which takes place on the basis of the 470 educational order of the Red Star of the Service Dog Breeding Center of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

According to the results of the second stage, team 12 of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Russia won the first place among men’s teams. The second place was won by the combined team of the Airborne Forces. Rounding out the top three was the team of military dog ​​handlers of the Directorate of Troops Service and Security of Military Service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation from 470 of the Training Center for Service Dog Breeding of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation (470 training center).

In the individual competition among men, the victory was won by Sergeant Oleg Chesnokov, representing the team of 470 of the training center of service dog breeding of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. The second place in the rating table also went to Sergeant Maxim Kazakov, out of 470 training centers. The honorable third place was won by Junior Sergeant Dmitry Mazaev from the Eastern Military District.

According to the results of the second stage, among the women’s teams of dog handlers, the first in terms of points were the servicemen of the Eastern Military District. The second is the Russian Aerospace Forces team. The third place according to the results of the stage was taken by the team of the Central Military District.

Ensign Diana Zelenova from the Russian Aerospace Forces team won the individual competition among women military personnel. Second place went to Junior Sergeant Angelina Razdobreeva from the command of the Eastern Military District. The third place went to Junior Sergeant Yulia Polyantseva, also representing the Air Defense Forces.

The judges assessed the clarity of the leader’s commands and the execution of commands when the service dog was working with the “helper”.

The competition stage is attended by 11 male and 7 female dog handler teams – the winners of the qualifying stages. These are teams representing the military districts, the Russian Aerospace Forces, the Strategic Missile Forces, the Airborne Forces, and the central military command and control bodies of the Russian Defense Ministry.
