In the Tamalinsky district of the Penza region, the remains of the Red Army soldier Vasily Yegorovich Gnusarev, who died during the Great Patriotic War, were reburied with honors.

The ceremony of reburial of the remains of the soldier took place at the cemetery of the village of Volchiy Vrag with military honors and a weapon salute.

During the war, Vasily Yegorovich Gnusarev fought with the enemy in Ukraine. According to information about irrecoverable losses, he was listed as missing in 1945.

During the excavations, the searchers of the Poisk group discovered a sanitary burial, in which the remains of the Red Army soldier V. Gnusarev, born in 1921 from the Penza region, were found. The remains were returned to their homeland.

The mourning ceremony was attended by the military commissar of the Belinsky and Tamalinsky regions Igor Zabnev, representatives of the district administration, servicemen of the Penza branch of the Military Academy of Logistics named after General of the Army A.V. Khruleva and the villagers.
