The hospital’s medical staff began receiving patients and carrying out medical and diagnostic measures. They have at their disposal ventilators, monitors for intensive observation of patients, X-ray machines, ultrasound machines, blood analyzers and a PCR laboratory.

In accordance with the decision of the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, General of the Army Sergei Shoigu, at the request of the governor of the Tula region, a field mobile multidisciplinary hospital of the Taman motorized rifle division of the guards tank army of the Western Military District was transferred to the region, made a march on standard equipment from Alabin near Moscow with a length of more than 200 kilometers to provide assistance in treatment of patients with new coronavirus infection.
