Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu on Saturday took part in the ceremony of the first graduation from the revived Tula Suvorov Military School (TSVU).

“Today we have a significant event – the first graduation of the Tula Suvorov military school, revived five years ago. In the face of today’s graduates, I am glad to welcome young citizens of our great country – educated, noble, and purposeful. In a good way, impudent and stubborn, ”said Shoigu, speaking at the ceremony.

“The years of apprenticeship were not easy. But they weren’t dull either. You have complex educational programs, exams, sports victories, an active social life behind you, ”the minister said.

He expressed confidence that each graduate will kindly remember the time spent on the Tula land, and with special gratitude – his teachers and educators.

“I have no doubt,” Shoigu said, addressing the graduates, “that you will carry the proud title of a Suvorovite through life with honor. And the qualities instilled within these walls – loyalty to duty, responsibility, decency, reliability, mutual assistance – will help you become real defenders of the Fatherland. “

He congratulated the graduates on the successful graduation from the school.

“Continue to learn and improve, boldly realize your creative potential and, most importantly, love our Motherland and be proud of it!” Shoigu said.
