The rescue squad of the Department of Search and Rescue Operations (UPASR) of the Black Sea Fleet (Black Sea Fleet) returned to the basing point after the completion of an exercise to search and assist a simulated emergency submarine (pl).

During the exercise, the forces of the rescue squad worked out the algorithm of actions in a simulated accident on a submarine, as a result of which the submarine received internal damage and lay on the ground.

More than 10 ships and vessels of the Black Sea Fleet were involved in the exercise, including: the submarine Kolpino, the oldest rescue ship Kommuna, the rescue ship Epron, the rescue tugboat Vasily Bekh, diving and fire-fighting ships, as well as an aircraft -amphibian Be-12 and helicopter Ka-27PS from the Naval Aviation of the fleet.

The role of the emergency submarine was performed by the crew of the Kolpino submarine. The exercise was held in one of the naval combat training grounds of the fleet in the Black Sea.
