The competition was attended by 13 teams from various regions of the country. Out of six racing days, the athletes did not compete for two days: there was a dead calm on the Kama River.

Dmitry Lazdin paired with Miron Gorkovenko performed on a 49-er yacht (photinayner). The length of the photininer is 4, 9 meters, the yacht is considered one of the fastest and most difficult to handle Olympic boats. Having spent six races in three days, Lazdin and Gorkovenko won silver medals, the victory went to the crew from St. Petersburg, the third place went to the guys from the Krasnodar Territory.

– Fotinayner is not my main class of yachts, based on my anthropometric parameters, I am more comfortable with the 470 class, but I was given the task of winning the competition, and we tried to get closer to the goal, – Dmitry Lazdin told the CSKA / Samara press center. – In July I will perform in my class of yachts – 470 – at the Junior World Championship in San Remo, Italy, later, also in Italy, I will take part in the European Youth Championship.

Kirill Tereshkin played on a laser-standard yacht, following the results of six races he took third place, Ilya Vyunov won silver, Nikita Melnikov won.

– The competition was strong, in my class there were four people from the Russian national team, – Kirill Tereshkin shared in an interview with the CSKA / Samara press center. – The plans for this season are the gathering of the Russian team in Sevastopol, and then performance at the Russian Championship in Olympic yacht classes, which will be held in St. Petersburg.
