The House of Culture “Stimul” offers to get acquainted with the method of socialist realism in painting. From 1 to 15 July on his official website an online exhibition “Socialist Realism. Paintings of the artists of the times of Stalin’s great style ”. The virtual exhibition will feature paintings created in the period from 1939 to 1953. These are works that reflected the worldview, values ​​and achievements of a whole generation of inhabitants of the USSR. Artists of socialist realism glorified labor, military exploits and scientific achievements, depicted the life of workers and peasants on their canvases. The main characters of their time – builders, steelmakers, students, scientists, athletes and soldiers – will appear before the audience.
