The situation is being monitored using a complex of unmanned aerial vehicles.

Prior to the start of the fire hazardous season in the region, military foresters carried out a set of planned preventive measures: the serviceability of technical and transport vehicles, the staffing of fire shields, the availability of primary fire extinguishing equipment were checked, a reserve stock of fuel and lubricants was prepared.

Specialists of the Ministry of Defense carried out preliminary work with servicemen of units and formations, schools, technical schools and organizations in the area of ​​responsibility of the military forestry on the rules of conduct on the ground in a fire-hazardous period and actions when a fire is detected.

Kamchatka forestry of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation controls the territory exceeding 25 thousand hectares.
