The tournament began with the formation of teams and welcoming words of the honorary guests of the tournament, including the deputy head of the combat training department of the head of the Engineering Forces of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Colonel Alexander Cherny, Deputy Head of the Tyumen Military Airborne Command, Colonel Vladimir Buzin, Head of the Physical Training Department of the Tyumen Military Airborne Command, Colonel Dmitry Yakovlev. Also, the teams were greeted by the organizers of the tournament, the chief referee Pavel Kalashkin and the manager of rugby development in the Armed Forces and law enforcement agencies Sofya Bolotova. The speakers noted that they are glad that the sport of rugby has entered the Engineering Troops of the RF Armed Forces and wished the children a good game and no injuries.
The competition was held with a group stage and playoff games.
In the match for 3rd place, the hosts from TVVIKU turned out to be stronger, being stronger than military engineers from 63 separate naval engineering regiment of the Red Banner Northern Fleet with a score of 6: 2.
In the final match of the tournament, the Khabarovsk 14th separate engineering brigade and the first Murom engineering and sapper brigade met. In both halves, the representatives of the Far East turned out to be stronger by one attempt and deservedly won 4: 2.
