The V All-Russian Competition of Methodological Skills “Silver Wings” from April 1, 2021 began accepting works. During this time, the competition has collected over 30 works from 25 participants from 18 regions of the country. The organizer of the competition is the Central Officers’ Club of the Aerospace Forces of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, with the support of the High Command of the Aerospace Forces and the Public Organization of the Interregional Trade Union Organization of the Aerospace Forces.

The competition is intended to help improve the level of methodological support for the activities of cultural and leisure institutions of the Aerospace Forces of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, study and generalize the best practices of cultural and leisure work, its dissemination and implementation in the troops.

The works will be evaluated by an expert jury, which, at the invitation of the head of the Central Officer Club of the Aerospace Forces, Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation Vladimir Sergeevich Luzhbin, will include representatives of the Department of Culture of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, heads of the All-Russian children’s and youth social movement UNARMIA, leading methodologists of the Central House of the Russian Army named after M.V. Frunze, and the jury will be headed by the Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Aerospace Forces for military-political work, Major General Alexander Anatolyevich Maksimtsev.

The competition is held in 6 nominations: The best scenario of a cultural and leisure event dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the first flight into space by Yu.A. Gagarin, The best methodological work (position, manual, instruction, script); The best scenario of a cultural and leisure event with the participation of the Youth Army, The best video about a cultural and leisure event, The best work on organizing cultural patronage over military personnel and their family members.

This year we are celebrating the 60th anniversary of Yuri Gagarin’s first flight into space, and this theme will receive a special reflection in the competition program.
