Servicemen of the united Russian military base Kant, stationed in the Kyrgyz Republic, conducted an excursion for students of the Kyrgyz-Russian Slavic University and children of employees of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Kyrgyzstan.

As part of military-patriotic education, Russian servicemen showed the excursionists the weapons and military equipment in service with the military base: Su-25 attack aircraft, Mi-8 helicopters and unmanned aerial vehicles. They told the visitors about the history of the creation of aviation technology and provided an opportunity to sit at the controls of airplanes and helicopters. At the end of the event, the guests visited the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, located on the territory of the military base.

The joint Russian air base Kant is part of the Collective Rapid Deployment Forces and is involved in ensuring the security of the airspace of the CSTO states. It is armed with Su-25 attack aircraft and Mi-8 helicopters.
