Citizens can report flooding to the round-the-clock central dispatching service of Mosvodostok, the district council, the prefecture, or leave a message on the Our City portal.

Superintensive precipitation fell throughout Moscow, in some areas – up to 70 percent of the monthly norm. The largest amount of precipitation was recorded in the south-west of the capital (53 mm), in the Central District (43 mm), in the north and north-west of the city (Volokolamskoe highway – 43 mm, Dmitrovskoe highway – 41 mm).

In places of temporary accumulation of water, teams from the State Unitary Enterprise “Mosvodostok” are working. On round-the-clock duty, emergency teams from engineering companies and district prefectures. Electricity companies have been instructed to alert all possible sources of emergency power. The objects of life support and fuel and energy facilities of the city are under special control.

Heavy rain, thunderstorms and hail will persist in the capital until the end of the day. When the weather worsens, the wind will increase up to 22 meters per second. At the same time, it will still be hot – up to 32 degrees.

In such weather, it is recommended to be careful and, if possible, not go outside. If, nevertheless, it is necessary, then you should not hide under trees, it is better to bypass weakly fortified structures and buildings. It is better to wait out strong winds and downpours indoors or on the subway.

Motorists are advised to park their cars in closed parking lots and be careful while driving. In such weather, visibility on the roads may deteriorate. In addition, motorists are asked to be more careful on the roads, strictly observe the speed limit and distance, and pedestrians – to be more careful on the streets, not to hide from the bad weather under the trees.

Rains with thunderstorms, according to forecasters, are expected until July 3. So, on Tuesday, June 29, at night there will be showers in some places, and the air will warm up to 20 degrees above zero. During the day it will be 20 to 25 degrees Celsius.

On June 30, thermometers will show up to 17 degrees at night, and up to 22 degrees above zero during the day. July 1 will be two degrees warmer in the afternoon.

On July 2 and 3, partly cloudy weather is expected, intermittent rains are expected. The air temperature at night will vary from 12 to 17 degrees above zero, during the day – up to 26 degrees.

No precipitation is expected on Sunday 4 July. At night it will be up to 18 degrees above zero, during the day – from 25 to 30 degrees Celsius.

If the area near the house is flooded, then you can also contact:

– to the prefecture of the county (contact information can be found on the website of the prefecture);

– to a single dispatch center by phone: +7 (495) 539-53-53.
