On June 28, a weekly conference call was held under the leadership of the First Deputy Minister of Emergencies of Russia Alexander Chupriyan. Work continues to control the flood situation on the Amur River. By the decision of the government commission on the territory of the Amur Region and the Trans-Baikal Territory, the situation was attributed to an emergency of an interregional nature, the operational group of the central office of the Russian Emergencies Ministry was working. At the moment, more than 760 residential buildings and 1.8 thousand household plots, eight low-water bridges and 19 sections of highways have been flooded in the Amur Region. There are 11 settlements left without automobile communication. Boat crossings are in operation, fire-fighting and medical support of flooded areas is organized. In the Trans-Baikal Territory, the situation has stabilized, there are no flooded areas.

Also under the control of the department is the elimination of the consequences of unfavorable meteorological phenomena in the Crimea. There are 35 damage assessment commissions in the region. There are more than 160 people in temporary accommodation centers. Unmanned aircraft are used to monitor the situation on the ground.

To fight natural fires in Yakutia and the Irkutsk region, the aviation of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia is used. During the reporting period, more than 1.6 thousand tons of water was discharged. A total of 390 natural fires in 25 regions are currently operating on the territory of Russia. There are no threats to settlements and economic facilities.

Over the past week, fire and rescue units responded to more than 7.8 thousand fires, volunteer firefighters were involved in eliminating 400 of them. While responding to more than 2 thousand road accidents, 1,500 people were saved.

No accidents with tourist groups. Last week, more than 720 groups with a total number of over 10 thousand people were registered on the routes.

Pyrotechnic units of the Russian Emergencies Ministry discovered and defused more than 3.6 thousand explosive objects, including 122 bombs.

In more than 1.6 thousand settlements, there was a power failure as a result of a complex of unfavorable meteorological phenomena. In six regions the roof was violated. Restoration work has been completed everywhere, with the exception of the Tver region, where it is planned to complete the repair work by the end of the day.
