Every July, the K.G. Paustovsky celebrates the day of memory of the writer. Events dedicated to this date will traditionally be held in the Memorial House-Museum of K.G. Paustovsky in Tarusa and a museum in Moscow.

On July 14, at 12:00, a memorial action and a requiem will be held at the Tarusa city cemetery. At 13:00, flowers will be laid at the monument to Konstantin Paustovsky on the Oka embankment.

In the Memorial House-Museum of K.G. Paustovsky at 11:00, 12:00 (offline) and 16:00 (online) guided tours of the permanent exhibition and the memorial garden. At 14:00 at the museum in Tarusa there will be a presentation of the exhibition “Hallowed be thy name, Tanyusha!”, Which is dedicated to Tatiana Paustovskaya, the writer’s wife. During the years of marriage between Konstantin Georgievich and Tatyana Alekseevna, The Story of Life was written, Paustovsky dedicated his famous book about the literary work The Golden Rose to “his devoted friend Tatyana Alekseevna Paustovskaya”. After the death of the writer, thanks to his wife, the atmosphere of the house in Tarusa was completely preserved. The presentation of the exhibition will take place in offline and online formats.

On the day of memory of Konstantin Paustovsky, a sightseeing tour of the main exhibition will take place at the Museum of the Writer in Moscow at 12:00 and 15:00. At 17:00 everyone will be able to listen to the lecture “Hallowed be thy name, Tanyusha!”, Dedicated to the writer’s wife.
