More than 900 thousand Muscovites use electronic medical recordusing a smartphone. This was reported by Anastasia Rakova, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Social Development.

“Today, patients want quick and convenient access to the maximum amount of information related to their health and treatment. And we are trying to satisfy this wish: in June last year, we opened the Muscovites access to the mobile version of the electronic medical card in the EMIAS.INFO application. Thus, the townspeople received fast and secure access to personal health information, which is now always at hand – right in the smartphone. The service is unconditionally popular. Since the launch of the mobile version, more than 900 thousand Muscovites have already started using the medical card in their smartphones – this is almost every third user of the medical card, ”she said.

About 300 thousand people turn to the mobile version of the medical card every month. They enter the medical card in the EMIAS.INFO application on average four to five times a month. According to Anastasia Rakova, this is a quick and convenient way for Muscovites to access their medical data. For example, you can check your test results without visiting the clinic, which is very important in the current epidemiological situation.

Also, using an application with the functionality of an electronic medical card, you can see and save a digital certificate with a unique QR code for visiting catering establishments and public events. The period of its validity is also indicated here. At the same time, if a valid digital certificate is available to the user during authorization in the medical card, it will automatically appear on the start page of the EMIAS.INFO application. This allows you to always have a QR code at hand and not re-enter the electronic medical record.

In addition, users have access to doctor’s examination protocols, test results for COVID-19 and other laboratory tests, and the results of instrumental studies (CT, MRI, ultrasound, fluorography, and others). Citizens can view images of pictures, hospital discharges, vaccination history of adults and children, information on current prescriptions, sick leaves and data on ambulance calls.

You can also upload medical documents to the electronic medical record, enter information about your personal and family history and key indicators of your health (data on body temperature, blood pressure, pulse, oxygen and blood sugar levels). In addition, users have the ability to download documents from their medical records and send them by email or messengers.

To access a medical card, a user must be over 15 years old, have a Moscow compulsory medical insurance policy and apply for access to it on You can apply for access to your electronic medical record and child’s record with a standard or full account on the portal… With a standard account, the service is provided at the request of the user within five working days, with a full account – on the same day.

The introduction of electronic medical records became possible thanks to the creation of a unified digital platform for the Moscow healthcare, which is being developed by a complex of social development in Moscow and Department of Information Technology
