More than six thousand residents of the capital will have the opportunity to get a job closer to home.
The Moscow government has assigned the status of an investment project to create places of employment for two development projects being implemented outside the Third Transport Ring (TTK). The corresponding order was signed during the Presidium of the Moscow Government Sergei Sobyanin.
The developers have committed themselves to create 6.3 thousand jobs. 5.2 thousand of them are organized by companies belonging to the PIK group, which will build a shopping complex on Zelenodolskaya Street (YuVAO, Kuzminki), a business center on Zarechnaya Street (JSC, Filevsky Park) and a shopping center on the territory of the former industrial zone Butovo ( South-Western Administrative District, Yuzhnoye Butovo) – the total area of objects will be 136 thousand square meters.
Another 1.1 thousand jobs will be created by JSC “Specialized developer” Metromash “(AFI Development), which plans to build a multifunctional office and shopping center on Tagilskaya Street (VAO, Metrogorodok), the area of the object will be 38 thousand square meters.
The program to stimulate the creation of places of employment outside the TTK approved by the Moscow Government in 2019… Initially, it was aimed at creating industrial and office facilities. In November 2020, the program was significantly expanded – now investors can receive benefits for the construction of education, science, health care and social security, sports, culture, trade, catering, shopping and entertainment centers and other facilities.
Developers can apply for special status through Moscow investment portal.
The implementation of the program will allow for a comprehensive balanced development of new districts outside the Third Transport Ring, as well as reduce the shortage of jobs in the blocks of the existing development and reduce pendulum migration within the city.
