By the end of this year, specialists from the Military Construction Complex of the Russian Ministry of Defense will have erected 30 different buildings and structures as part of the development of the infrastructure of the mooring front for the deployment of the submarine forces of the Pacific Fleet in Kamchatka.

The progress of the work was inspected by the Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Timur Ivanov during a working trip to the troops of the Eastern Military District.

Military builders have already commissioned two piers, a compressor station and a charging power station, as well as communications.

The piers form a wet dock. A powerful reinforced concrete structure with a height of more than 50 meters in places will reliably protect submarines staying at the facility from wave action and ocean swell. The technology of their construction takes into account all possible weather influences at all stages of construction.

On the territory formed at the berth, the construction of the coastal infrastructure continues to provide the facility and ships with energy and engineering networks. A bank protection was also erected to protect it from wave impacts.

At the base of the submarine forces of the Pacific Fleet, specialists of the Military Construction Complex of the Russian Ministry of Defense are working on the construction of facilities for the pier zone intended for the deployment of submarines, incl. new generation.
