In accordance with the combat training plan, the large landing ships of the Pacific Fleet “Admiral Nevelskoy” and “Peresvet”, together with marine units serving in the Kamchatka Territory, conducted a special tactical lesson to land equipment and personnel on an unequipped coast.

In the course of the exercise, which was held in Malaya Lagernaya Bay, the organization of the approach of landing ships to the section of the coast was worked out on which temporary alignment signs were previously installed by hydrographic teams. The landing of equipment and personnel was carried out by the “point blank” method.

The actions of the detachment of landing ships were provided by a hydrographic vessel and a sea tug.

More than 200 servicemen and about 30 units of engineering and special equipment were involved in the training.
