Servicemen of the united Russian military base Kant in the Kyrgyz Republic conducted an excursion for the students of the Author’s school-complex.

As part of military-patriotic education, the schoolchildren were shown modern models of small arms, demonstrated the training class of aviation rescuers, as well as Mi-8MTV5 helicopters and Su-25 aircraft. Russian servicemen told the children in detail about the peculiarities of military service and gave them the opportunity to try on military uniforms, sit at the helm of helicopters and airplanes, and ride an armored vehicle “Ural”. At the end of the event, the guests visited the church of St. Prince Alexander Nevsky, located on the territory of the military base.

The joint Russian air base Kant is part of the Collective Rapid Deployment Forces and is involved in ensuring the security of the airspace of the CSTO states. It is armed with Su-25 attack aircraft and Mi-8 helicopters.
