At the Raevsky training ground of the Novorossiysk Guards Airborne Assault Mountain Formation, the qualification of the All-Army Competition “Tactical Shooter” took place, which is for the first time held within the framework of the International Army Games “ARMY-2021”.

The participants of the qualification had to show the highest result in the control exercises in order to get to the main draw of the competition.

During the first qualifying exercise, the servicemen hit each target with two shots from the left hand, then, after changing the magazine, from the right. In the second exercise, at the signal of the referee, the participant, after hitting the target, moved to the next shooting zone with a change of weapon (pistol and machine gun) and shooting position. In the third exercise, on a signal, the servicemen also opened fire on the targets on the right, resting the butt on the right shoulder, and then, changing the magazine, hit those on the left – resting the butt on the left shoulder.

Participants were assessed on the basis of time indicators, accuracy of their shooting, compliance with safety requirements. Having shown high results in three exercises, all participants of the tournament fulfilled the qualification requirements and successfully passed to the main draw of the competition.
