The jury of the “Faithful friend” canine competition determined the winners of the all-army stage of the “Faithful Friend-2021” International Dog Training Competition, which today ended in the 470th training center of the Order of the Red Star at the Service Dog Breeding Center of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation named after Major General G.P. Medvedev in the Dmitrovsky district of the Moscow region.

Major General Vladimir Golovachev, Head of the Directorate of Troops and Security of the Military Service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, Chief Judge of the competition, presented medals and cups in the team and individual competitions to the winners, as well as prize-winners in various nominations of the competition, which thanked all the participants for their desire to win.

According to the results of the competition among the military districts, the first place was taken by the combined team of the Eastern Military District. The second was won by the command of the Western Military District. Honorary – the third place in the tense struggle went to the dog handlers of the Southern Military District.

Among the types and branches of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the team competition, the team of the Airborne Forces became the best. The second line in the ranking of leaders among the cynologists of the Strategic Missile Forces. The Aerospace Forces team closed the top three.

Among the military command and control bodies, the first were the cynologists of the 470th training center for service dog breeding of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. The second line of the rating belongs to the team of the Federal Service of Troops of the National Guard of the Russian Federation. The third in terms of total points were the military dog ​​handlers of the 12th Main Directorate of the military department.

In the individual competition among men, the victory was won by Sergeant Maxim Kazakov, representing the team of the 470th Training Center for Service Dog Breeding of the RF Armed Forces.

According to the results of five stages, among the women’s teams of dog handlers, the first in terms of the total points were the military personnel of the Eastern Military District. The second is the Russian Aerospace Forces team. The third place according to the results of the stage was taken by the team of the Central Military District.

The dog handler from the 470th training center for service dog breeding of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Sergeant Major Natalya Yablokova, won the individual competition among female military personnel.

“During the time of the competition, the level of participants has increased significantly. The program is gradually becoming more complicated, more spectacular and more interesting. This year the competition will be held abroad for the first time. The dog handler competition is planned to be held on the territory of the Algerian People’s Democratic Republic. There will be a very competitive and difficult struggle in difficult hot climatic conditions. In addition to Russia, such countries as Algeria, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Peru and Vietnam are planning their participation in the competition, said the head of the canine service of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Captain First Rank Roman Getman.

In the all-army stage of the competition, 11 male and 7 female dog handler teams fought for the victory. These are the combined teams of the winners of the qualifying rounds, representing the military districts, the Russian Aerospace Forces, the Strategic Missile Forces, the Airborne Forces, the 12th Main Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Defense, the Directorate of Troops and Security of the Military Service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, DOSAAF teams of Russia and dog handlers Rosgvardia. In the period from June 19 to June 30, about 90 cynological crews of military dog ​​handlers with service dogs took part in it.

The Russian team at the international stage, which will take place from August 22 to 30 of this year in the Algerian People’s Democratic Republic, will be represented by the men’s and women’s national teams formed as a result of the All-Army stage held in the Moscow Region, which will continue training tomorrow at the service dog breeding center of the Ministry of Defense Russia in the suburbs.
