The ships participating in the Main Naval Parade are fully provided with nautical navigational maps of the training areas and the places of its holding on the roadstead of Kronstadt and the Neva. Specialists from the navigational services of formations and specialists from the navigational combat units of ships and vessels assigned to participate in the Main Naval Parade were given appropriate classes on the knowledge of the navigation features of sea areas along the routes of inter-fleet crossings to Kronstadt and St. Petersburg.

Earlier, the Department of Navigation and Oceanography of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the Hydrographic Service of the Navy carried out work on measuring depths and checking the functioning of objects of navigation and hydrographic services in the places of the Main Naval Parade, which will be held on the Day of the Navy in St. Petersburg and Kronstadt on July 25. We are talking about the waters of the Gulf of Finland, the Kronshadt roadstead, the roadstead on the river. Neva. The scope and results of the work were reported to the Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy, Admiral Nikolai Evmenov, at a working meeting.

Over 5 hydrographic boats of various classes, including large hydrographic boats equipped with modern echo sounders and hydrographic equipment, were involved in measuring depths.

The depth measurement results are plotted on special tablets, which display the navigation features of navigation in the waters of the Main Naval Parade.

Along with this, specialists from the Navigation and Oceanography Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation organized work on the preparation of the entire system of navigation signs and beacons located in the training and rehearsal areas, as well as the Main Naval Parade itself. Inspection and scheduled repairs were carried out on over 16 navigation signs and lighthouses in the area of ​​the Main Naval Parade.

Work on the preparation of the navigation and hydrographic support system for the Main Naval Parade is under the constant control of the Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy, Admiral Nikolai Evmenov.
