14 canine specialists from 10 territorial bodies of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia: Vladimir, Vologda, Ivanovo, Kostroma, Nizhny Novgorod, Penza regions, the republics of Mordovia, Udmurtia, Tatarstan, Chuvashia were trained under the professional training program.

For 3 months, the teachers of the canine service cycle taught the dog handlers and their service dogs general and special training course.

In the educational process, the students showed good organization and discipline. The teaching staff and curators of study groups paid great attention to consultations, independent work of students, which contributed to the development of skills for self-improvement.

At the final tests, the specialists – cynologists and the service dogs assigned to them showed that the training time for them was not in vain. At the stage of theoretical testing of knowledge, dog handlers confidently answered the questions posed in the tickets. At the practical stage, which depended on the work of the dog, the furry law enforcement officers dexterously followed the commands and did not let their masters down.

At the end of the qualification exam, a ceremonial formation was held on the parade ground of the training center, the students were awarded certificates of conferring the qualification “Guide (leader) of service dogs of the 4th category”.

The head of the training center Sergei Makarkin addressed the graduates with a parting word, congratulating the graduates on the completion of their studies and wishing to skillfully apply the knowledge gained in practice.
