The combined arms army of the Eastern Military District (VVO), stationed in the Trans-Baikal Territory, conducted an air defense (AA) training with calculations of a modern anti-aircraft missile system (SAM) “Buk-M1” to repel an air strike from a simulated enemy.

According to the plan of the event, the air defense systems on duty with the help of the target detection station detected the approach of the air assets of the simulated enemy in the direction of the logistics facilities in the area of the deployment of troops.

In addition, the crews of the anti-aircraft missile system took part in a training with the command post of the air defense of the formation for control and target distribution to effectively repel the attacks of a simulated enemy.
