About 500 servicemen of formations and military units of the Amur Combined Arms Formation of the Eastern Military District (VVO) took part in the training camp with the calculations of RPG-7V hand-held anti-tank grenade launchers and AGS-17 “Flame” automatic grenade launchers.

Over the course of a month, servicemen who are part of the calculations of the RPG-7V hand-held anti-tank grenade launchers and the AGS-17 “Flame” automatic anti-personnel grenade launchers, together with sniper pairs, will train in the destruction of light and heavy armored vehicles, gun crews and groups of imaginary enemy infantry.

Experienced instructors will teach young servicemen to covertly move on the battlefield, choose a place for a fire ambush, correctly classify and hit targets at maximum range.

Snipers, acting in tandem with grenade launcher crews, will learn how to stealth movement, how to defeat military equipment and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of a simulated enemy using sniper weapons, thereby significantly increasing the efficiency of grenade launcher crews.

In tactical and special training classes, servicemen will work out various methods of covert movement and camouflage using service and improvised means. They will gain experience in using observation and aiming devices, determining the distance to the target and correcting fire.

In total, during the training sessions with RPG-7V grenade launchers and AGS-17 calculations, about 70 theoretical and more than 100 hours of practical day and night classes will be held. During the execution of the training program, more than 2000 shots from RPG-7V and about 4500 shots from AGS-17 “Flame” will be fired.

At the final stage of the training camp, the servicemen will show their skills in the course of comprehensive control exercises.
