At the republican assembly point in Dagestan, another dispatch of more than 200 recruits by Il-76 aircraft of military transport aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces took place as part of the spring conscription of citizens for military service in 2021.

The conscripts were sent in compliance with the complex of anti-epidemiological recommendations in force in the region. Aircraft and buses were previously disinfected. Before being sent to the places of service, all recruits passed tests for the presence of coronavirus infection, underwent mandatory fingerprinting, medical examination and professional psychological selection.

Also at the assembly point, all conscripts were given uniforms, bags and travel bags with hygiene items. The servicemen were provided with personal protective equipment and antiseptics, as well as dry rations on the way from Makhachkala to Sevastopol. Each recruit received a bank card, a personal electronic card and a SIM card to communicate with family and friends in the prescribed manner.

Conscripts from the republics of the North Caucasus will serve in military units and formations deployed on the territory of the Crimean peninsula. Upon arrival at military units, recruits will be accommodated for 14 days in separate barracks, while their meals and training will be organized separately from the rest of the military.

At the moment, during the spring draft of 2021, the republican assembly point of Dagestan sent over 2.7 thousand citizens of draft age to serve in the troops of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
