At the assembly point of the Military Commissariat of the Republic of Crimea, citizens called up for military service in the formations and military units of the Southern Military District were dispatched.

In connection with the restrictive measures to counter coronavirus infection in force in the region, the ceremonial dispatch of conscripts took place without the participation of their relatives and with strict observance of sanitary and epidemiological requirements.

The ceremonial event was attended by the military commissar of the Republic of Crimea, Colonel Yuri Lymar, military service veterans and representatives of public veteran organizations.

Before being sent on the buses on which the recruits arrived at the airfield, and the plane itself was disinfected, all recruits passed tests for the presence of coronavirus infection and went through all medical measures before being sent to the troops.

Over 200 conscripts from the Republic of Crimea flew the Il-76M military transport aviation of the Russian Military Space Forces to serve in the formations and military units of the Southern Military District.

Each conscript was given clothing, bank and personal electronic cards, as well as a set of personal protective equipment (masks, gloves, shoe covers) to preserve their health and the health of those around them.
