In the Baltic Fleet Marine Corps unit, the crews of the BTR-82a armored personnel carriers are being routinely trained.

Currently, the Baltic Fleet Marine Corps unit continues to train the crews of the BTR-82a armored personnel carriers as part of the planned combat training course.

In particular, the crews of combat vehicles undergo a training course in stages, which includes driving and performing a course of live firing from armored personnel carriers. In total, over 50 crews of armored personnel carriers take part in combat training events. The training is carried out in stages – from a single training of driver mechanics to the performance of tasks by a separate crew together with the landing party.

Servicemen improve the skills of driving armored personnel carriers over rough terrain and afloat, and also practice firing from armored personnel carriers at various targets.

In total, over 200 military personnel and more than 50 military equipment are involved in the combat training event.
