By order of the President, 6 billion rubles will be additionally allocated to the regions for the Rural Mortgage program and projects for the integrated development of rural areas. This order was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

Of this amount, 2 billion rubles will go to support rural mortgages. “This will additionally make it possible to improve housing conditions for at least 14 thousand families, and at the end of the year – at least 35 thousand families,” Mikhail Mishustin said at a Government meeting on July 8.

With the help of the Rural Mortgage program, citizens can get a loan at a preferential rate of up to 3% per annum for the purchase of a land plot and the construction of housing on it, an apartment in a new building, a finished private house, as well as for the construction of housing on an existing plot. The down payment is 10%. The maximum term is 25 years. The mortgage applies to land or housing in rural areas and in cities with a population of no more than 30 thousand people.

Then, more than 2.7 billion rubles will be allocated for the development of social and engineering infrastructure in 26 regions and more than 1.1 billion for the arrangement of playgrounds and sports grounds, recreation areas, pedestrian infrastructure and road repairs in 44 regions of the country.

The remaining 68 million rubles will go to the Kostroma region. With their help, a new road will be built to the Kovalevsky center for helping children left without parental care.
