In Moscow, 1.7 thousand people are hospitalized daily. Most of them are young people without chronic diseases.

There is a high incidence of coronavirus in the capital. Told about it Sergei Sobyaninin an interview with the program “Week in the City” on the TV channel “Russia 1”. He noted that Moscow managed to pass the peak values, but many people are still admitted to hospitals. So, 1.7 thousand people are hospitalized every day.

“Only Muscovites who have a severe or extremely severe course of the disease are admitted to hospitals. This means that many of them end up in intensive care. A large number of people who did not get sick in the first wave are young healthy people without any chronic diseases, ”said the Moscow Mayor.

The disease often starts asymptomatically or only with mild ARVI symptoms. Then there is a sharp deterioration in health. The Mayor of Moscow noted that only vaccination will help to get out of this situation.

In the capital, at least 60 percent of employees of companies working in the service sectors, education, health care, housing and communal services, entertainment and sports events must be vaccinated by July 15 (the first component). This decision was made on the basis of the decision of the chief sanitary doctor of Moscow. The list also includes civil servants and employees of organizations subordinate to the executive authorities.

“If there will be no maximum vaccination, there will be no normal work, the first blow will hit just the enterprises that are included in the scope of compulsory vaccination: trade, services, catering – restaurants and cafes. If they themselves do not organize and do not want to do it, then what is the outcome? The outcome is as follows: lockdown, complete closure. We are trying to avoid this, and at a high cost, ”said Sergei Sobyanin.

The Moscow government intends to encourage companies that meet the requirement for complete vaccination of 60 percent or more of workers. Thus, the first 100 enterprises, organizations and individual entrepreneurs that have fulfilled the requirements will receive grants from the capital’s budget. In addition, restaurants and cafes that comply with the requirements for using QR codes will receive grants to compensate for utility bills.

Sergei Sobyanin signed a decree on compensation of utility bills for catering has launched a service for transmitting data about vaccinated employees

Nevertheless, catering enterprises are in a difficult situation during a pandemic. To support them, the program of subsidizing loans was extended and deferrals were introduced for rent payments and payments for property taxes. Also, restaurants and cafes were included in the program for providing subsidies to small and medium-sized businesses.
