As part of the field training competition among special forces “Green Path”, servicemen overcame the minefield and performed the “Reconnaissance group in ambush” shooting exercise.

On a strip 1 m wide and 25 m long, the teams had to determine the location of more than 10 imitation pressure mines and guy wires, mark the passage and overcome the engineering barriers. Then the contestants performed a shooting exercise as part of a group and hit more than 15 targets at a distance of 150 to 350 m.

Competitions in the Krasnodar Territory will last until July 13. Participants will compete in the actions of reconnaissance groups when moving over long distances, when landing a group from a Mi-8AMTSh helicopter, when overcoming water obstacles, when performing special tasks, when firing a sniper rifle, machine gun, grenade launcher, machine gun and pistol, when withdrawing a reconnaissance group behind enemy lines. At the final stage of the competition, the scouts will work out an ambush and make a 10 km march.

More than 500 servicemen from formations and military units of special purpose of four military districts, the Northern Fleet, the Airborne Forces and cadets of the Ryazan Higher Airborne Command School named after General of the Army V.F. Margelov, as well as a special forces group from the armed forces Belarus, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. There are 26 teams in total.
