Two billion rubles will be allocated for this from the budget of the capital.

This year, more than two billion rubles will be allocated to provide free meals to medical workers at coronavirus hospitals. The funds will be allocated from the city budget. The resolution on this issue was signed by Sergei Sobyanin.

Free three meals a day are received by physicians who provide care to patients with suspected COVID-19 or a confirmed diagnosis in an inpatient setting. Deliveries began in April last year. During this time, the city’s restaurant chains have transferred over 2.6 million daily rations to hospitals. Currently, food is received in 27 hospitals: 34 delivery points have been organized.

The situation with COVID-19 in the capital remains difficult. Mass vaccination continues in the city. Vaccination against coronavirus infection can be done free of charge by appointment at one of the vaccination points at the polyclinics, as well as without an appointment in the pavilions “Healthy Moscow” or the work points of mobile teams in popular public places.
