The production sector of the penitentiary system of the Samara region includes 12 centers for labor adaptation of convicts at correctional institutions. In order to popularize the products manufactured by subordinate institutions, a demonstration exhibition of cleaning and detergents, clothing, souvenirs and consumer goods was organized. In addition, a tasting of the products made in the colonies was held. These are salted and pickled vegetables, apple juice.

Colonel of the Internal Service Svetlana Burlakova acquainted the meeting participants with the potential of the UIS production sector. She also clarified the possibility of placing orders in the colonies as a sole supplier without conducting competitive procedures in accordance with the updated list of goods (works and services).

The result of the interaction of the FSIN of Russia in the Samara region and the GUOT of the Samara region was the conclusion of 6 contracts with state budgetary institutions. This made it possible to create additional jobs for convicts serving sentences of imprisonment.
